Handknitted British Bluefaced Leicester Wool Wrist Warmers

Wrist warmers are a little luxury that no one should be without. Just covering that little bit of wrist and hand can keep your whole hand cosy and warm without covering your fingers. These are a pure wool version, no man made fibres, farmed, processed, spun and knitted in the UK.

These wrist warmers are hand knitted to my own design which blends a simple, minimal look with functional comfort. The garter stitch construction allows the wrist warmers to stretch to fit the shape of your hand leaving no draughty gaps. 

Wrist warmers will fit an average adult/teenage hand, in fact, the generous stretch will accommodate quite large sizes so don't be fooled by the unstretched images. They measure 16cm/6.5" in length (that doesn't change when you wear them) and approximately 8cm/3" across the wrist when laid flat.

Your wrist warmers will be knitted from a pure wool yarn - I use a UK raised, processed and spun yarn from the Bluefaced Leicester sheep breed often known as 'BFL' for ease. These sheep are sometimes called the 'British merino' as they produce a soft, lustrous wool that's soft enough to be worn next to the skin. Whilst they are not quite as soft as my Cashmere Blend Wristwarmers, they are 100% natural fibre in 3 natural shades that's been raised, processed, spun and knitted in the UK (no air miles!). I also knit the wrist warmers in another all natural fibre - a wool and Alpaca mix. I suggest you handwash them if they get grubby.

Each pair of wristwarmers sports a sustainable cork tag with the A Little Tangled logo which also tells you that it was handmade in the UK. Wrist warmers will be presented in a recycled (and recyclable) gift box with tissue paper, perfect for gifting.
